• Inspection-request details – basement situation, home age, county, and any context you share about the issue you’re facing.

This information is submitted via the inspection request form, by calling our tracking number, or by emailing us directly.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our systems automatically collect:

• Browser type, device type, and operating system.
• Pages visited, time on site, and referrer source.
• Approximate location (city/region inferred from IP address).
• Interactions with Site CTAs and forms.

Information from third-party services

We may receive information from third-party analytics, advertising, and call-tracking platforms, including:

• Google Analytics 4 (if installed).
• Call-tracking analytics from CallRail or equivalent (if wired).

3. How We Share Your Information

We share information only with the parties and for the purposes listed below:

• Service vendors – project subcontractors only as needed for your specific project, plus CRM/email platforms, scheduling platforms, and payment processors that support our business operations.
• Legal and regulatory authorities – when required by law, by valid legal process, or to investigate suspected fraud.

• Analytics data – 14 months (Google Analytics 4 default retention).

8. Right to Access and Deletion Procedure

To request a copy of the data we hold about you, or to request its deletion, email info@bigeasybasements.com.

We respond within 45 days of receipt (or 90 days with an extension for complex requests, with notice to you). We verify your identity before fulfilling deletion requests to prevent unauthorized destruction of someone else’s data.

Requests are free for the first one per calendar year. Subsequent requests in the same year may incur reasonable processing fees as permitted by applicable law.

9. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites – for example, manufacturer warranty portals, county permitting offices, or industry-association pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any site we link to. Review each third party’s privacy policy before sharing data with them.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our services are sold to homeowners, who are adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 16. If we learn we’ve inadvertently collected such data, we delete it promptly.
