- Inspection-request details — basement situation, home age, county, and any context you share about the issue you’re facing.
This information is submitted via the inspection request form, by calling our tracking number, or by emailing us directly.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our systems automatically collect:
- Browser type, device type, and operating system.
- Pages visited, time on site, and referrer source.
- Approximate location (city/region inferred from IP address).
- Interactions with Site CTAs and forms.
Information from third-party services
We may receive information from third-party analytics, advertising, and call-tracking platforms, including:
- Google Analytics 4 (if installed).
- Call-tracking analytics from CallRail or equivalent (if wired).
- Advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta) if cookies are present and you’ve consented to optional tracking.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
- Service delivery — scheduling inspections, sending estimates, and completing projects.
- Quality assurance — reviewing call recordings if you call our tracking number, and conducting post-project follow-up.
- Marketing — newsletter communications only with your consent, and retargeting on social platforms only with cookie consent where applicable.
- Internal analytics — improving the Site and the customer experience.
- Compliance — meeting legal, regulatory, and tax obligations.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share information only with the parties and for the purposes listed below:
- Service vendors — project subcontractors only as needed for your specific project, plus CRM/email platforms, scheduling platforms, and payment processors that support our business operations.
- Legal and regulatory authorities — when required by law, by valid legal process, or to investigate suspected fraud.
- Potential successor entities — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, in which case you would be notified.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Your Privacy Rights — Connecticut (CTDPA)
Under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), effective 2023, Connecticut residents have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process their personal data.
- Access the personal data we hold about them.
- Correct inaccurate personal data.
- Delete personal data.

Under the New York Stop Hacks and Improve Electronic Data Security Act (SHIELD Act), we provide breach notification to affected New York residents if a security event compromises private information. New York residents also have data access and deletion rights consistent with applicable law.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes:
- Required cookies — needed for basic Site functionality (form submission, session continuity).
- Optional cookies — analytics and marketing cookies, controlled by your consent where applicable.
Specific technologies in use: [CONTENT-PENDING — operator to list actual tracking stack: GA4, Meta Pixel, CallRail, etc.].
You can disable cookies in your browser at any time. Some Site functionality may be limited as a result.

- Analytics data — 14 months (Google Analytics 4 default retention).
8. Right to Access and Deletion Procedure
To request a copy of the data we hold about you, or to request its deletion, email [privacy contact email].
We respond within 45 days of receipt (or 90 days with an extension for complex requests, with notice to you). We verify your identity before fulfilling deletion requests to prevent unauthorized destruction of someone else’s data.
Requests are free for the first one per calendar year. Subsequent requests in the same year may incur reasonable processing fees as permitted by applicable law.
9. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites — for example, manufacturer warranty portals, county permitting offices, or industry-association pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any site we link to. Review each third party’s privacy policy before sharing data with them.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our services are sold to homeowners, who are adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 16. If we learn we’ve inadvertently collected such data, we delete it promptly.
