FAQ · Warranty
What does the lifetime waterproofing warranty cover?
Permanent dryness in the area we waterproofed — in writing, with honest, narrow exclusions.
Short answer
Permanent dryness at the area we waterproofed. If water comes through in the warranted area, we return at no cost to repair. It covers the system we installed — not unrelated issues like a roof leak or burst plumbing.
The full picture
A lifetime waterproofing warranty sounds simple, but the details matter. Here is exactly what ours covers, in plain English, so you know what you are buying before you sign anything.
What the warranty covers
- The waterproofed area stays dry. If water enters through the section of foundation we sealed, drained, or otherwise treated, we come back and repair it — at no cost to you.
- The system itself. Interior drainage channels, sump pump pits, vapor barriers, and discharge lines installed by our crew are covered for the life of the system in your home.
- Workmanship. If something we installed fails because of how it was installed, we fix it. No deductible. No call-center runaround.
- Transferable to the next owner. One time, at no additional cost, when you sell the home. This becomes a real asset on the listing paperwork.
What the warranty does not cover
This is where most warranties get cute. Ours stays narrow and honest:
- Unrelated water sources — a leaking roof, burst supply line, failed appliance hose, or a clogged exterior downspout pushing water against an untreated section of foundation.
- Areas we did not waterproof. If you hired us to handle the front-wall seepage and the rear wall later develops a problem, that is a separate scope — not a warranty claim.
- Modifications made without our involvement. If a third party cuts into the drainage system, removes a sump pump, or alters discharge lines, that voids coverage on the affected section.
- Structural movement we were not contracted to repair. Waterproofing is not foundation repair. If a wall shifts and opens new pathways, that needs a foundation scope.
Why we keep the exclusions short
Some warranties bury you in fine print so the company can decline almost any claim. We do not work that way. The contractor who issues the warranty is the same contractor who answers the phone when you call. If a claim is covered, we honor it. If it is not covered, we explain why in the same plain-English we used when we sold you the job — and we will often quote the repair separately so you have options.
The actual warranty document is the source of truth. Ask for a copy before signing; we will walk through it line by line.
